How to Add Another Parent

Follow the steps below to add another parent:

  • Step 1: Navigate to the Administrative section on the main menu
  • Step 2: Click Parent (a menu under Administrative)
  • Step 3: Click Manage Parent (a sub-menu under Parent)
  • Step 4: Click the Add Parent button at the top right corner
  • Step 5: Fill in the required fields
  • Step 6: Click Save

Congratulations! You have successfully added another parent.

How to Update Parent Information

Follow the steps below to update parent information:

  • Step 1: Navigate to the Administrative section on the main menu
  • Step 2: Click Parent (a menu under Administrative)
  • Step 3: Click Manage Parent (a sub-menu of Parent)
  • Step 4: Use the search box to quickly find parents by name (preferably surname)
  • Step 5: From the list of parents, click the Details button to the right of the parent of interest
  • Step 6: Update necessary fields
  • Step 7: Click Save

How to assign a child to a parent

Follow the steps below to assign a child to a parent:

  • Step 1: Navigate to the Administrative section on the main menu
  • Step 2: Click Parent (a menu under Administrative)
  • Step 3: Click Manage Parent (a sub-menu of Parent)
  • Step 4: Click the Ward button on the parent of interest
  • Step 5: Click the Assign Ward button at the top right corner
  • Step 6: Search the child by name (multiple students/pupils can be selected)
  • Step 7: Click Save

Congratulation! You have successfully assigned a child to a parent.

How to Remove a Child from a Parent

Follow the steps below to remove a child from a parent:

  • Step 1: Navigate to the Administrative section on the main menu
  • Step 2: Click Parent (a menu under Administrative)
  • Step 3: Click Manage Parent (a sub-menu of Parent)
  • Step 4: Click the Ward button on the parent of interest
  • Step 5: Click the checkbox on the left, beside the child's name
  • Step 6: Click the delete icon in red at the top right corner

Congratulations! you've successfully removed a child from a parent.

How to view a parent who has no assigned children

Follow the steps below to view parents with no assigned children:

  • Step 1: Navigate to the Administrative section on the main menu
  • Step 2: Click Parent (A menu under Administrative)
  • Step 3: Click Manage Parent (a sub-menu of Parent)
  • Step 4: Click the first icon at the top right specifying all parents
This gives access to the list of all parents. Take note of the parent with a pink color background. This indicates that the parent has no child has been assigned.

How to Handle Duplicate Parent Problems

Follow the steps below to handle duplicate parent problem:

  • Step 1: Navigate to the Administrative section on the main menu
  • Step 2: Click Parent (a menu under Administrative)
  • Step 3: Click Resolve Duplicate (a sub-menu of Parent)

This shows the list of duplicated parent

Instances of duplicate parent:

(No two-parent should have the same phone number and e-mail address)

  • Instance 1: Same parent details but a different E-mail address 
  • Solution: Select one and delete the other one
  • Instance 2: The same parent but registered with different names
  • Solution: Select one and delete the other one
  • Instance 3: The same parent registered twice
  • Solution: Select one parent and delete the other parent
  • Instance 4: Same parent with different phone numbers
  • Solution: Select one parent and delete the other parent

  • Step 1: Navigate to the Administrative section on the main menu
  • Step 2: Click Parent (a menu under Administrative)
  • Step 3: Click Manage Parent (a sub-menu of Parent)
  • Step 4: Use the search box to quickly find parents by name (preferably surname)
