How to register a new student

Follow the steps below to register a new student:

  • Step 1: Log in to your school portal and navigate to the Administrative section on the main menu
  • Step 2: Click Student/Pupil (a menu under Administrative)
  • Step 3: Click New Student/Pupil (a sub-menu of Student/Pupil)
  • Step 4: Fill in all required fields.
  • Step 5: Click Save

Congratulations, you have successfully registered a new student.

Note

Take note of the following:

A. Type of Student

  • Select REGULAR if only the student would not require special and extra care and attention
  • Select SPECIAL NEED if only the student will always need special and extra care and attention

B. Student Category

  • Select which category applies to the student -- Day or Boarding

Under the Parent Details section:

  • Click New Parent if the child being registered has no sibling in the school. Fill in the required details of the parent either father or mother
  • To add another parent, click the Add Another Parent button
  • Click Existing Parent if the child being registered has an existing sibling in the school. Search by the student's surname (which is the parent's name), and select the parent. (Multiple parents can be selected both father and mother)

How to import students from the Admission list

Follow the steps below to import students from the admission list:

  • Step 1: Log in to the school portal and navigate to the Administrative section on the main menu
  • Step 2: Click Student
  • Step 3: Click New Student
  • Step 4: Click the Import from Admission List button at the top right corner
  • Step 5: From the list of candidates displayed, select a class for each candidate. (Candidates yet to accept the admission offer can be removed using the X icon to the right
  • Step 6: Click Save

You have successfully imported students from the admission list.

How to upload a student profile picture

Follow these steps to add a picture:

  • Step 1: Log in to your school portal and navigate to the Administrative section on the main menu
  • Step 2: Click Student
  • Step 3: Click Manage Student
  • Step 4: Click the Details button in front of the Student’s name
  • Step 5: Click Upload Picture (to select the student's/pupil's picture)
  • Step 6: Click Save

Note

  • A passport photograph should be used (must capture the face of the student/pupil)
  • The student should be in the school uniform or any formal dressing
  • The picture must not be more than 500 Kilobytes
  • Photograph uploaded can also be downloaded. The DOWNLOAD button will appear below the student's photograph after you have successfully uploaded it. TO download the photograph, click the DOWNLOAD button.

How to Generate Admission Numbers for Students/Pupils

The following are steps to generate admission numbers for students/pupils:

  • Step 1: Log in to your school portal and navigate to the Administrative section on the main menu
  • Step 2: Click Student/Pupil (A submenu of Administrative)
  • Step 3: Click Directory (A Submenu of Student/Pupil)
  • Step 4: Click the icon as shown in the image below

  • Step 5: Take note of the important pop-up message about generating admission numbers for students/pupils
  • Step 6: Click Proceed

How to delete a student profile picture

Follow these steps to delete a student picture:

  • Step 1: Log in to your school portal and navigate to the Administrative section on the main menu
  • Step 2: Click Student
  • Step 3: Click Manage Student
  • Step 4: Click the Details button in front of the Student’s name
  • Step 5: On the student picture, Click Remove

How to Move Student From One School to Another

Follow the steps below to move student:

  • Step 1: Log in to the school portal
  • Step 2: Navigate to the Administrative section on the main menu
  • Step 3: Click Student (a menu under Administrative)
  • Step 4: Click Manage Student (a sub-menu of Student)
  • Step 5: Click the checkbox to the left of the preferred students/pupils to be moved
  • Step 6: Click the share icon in red at the top right corner of the page specifying Move
  • Step 7: Select status as Transfer
  • Step 8: Select School Location
  • Step 9: Click Save

How to Make a Student Inactive

Follow the steps to make students inactive:

  • Step 1: Log in to the school portal
  • Step 2: Navigate to the Administrative section on the main menu
  • Step 3: Click Student (or pupil) (A menu under Administrative)
  • Step 4: Click Manage Student (or pupil) (a sub-menu of Student (or pupil))
  • Step 5: Use the search box to quickly search for a student by name (preferably surname) (Class and Arm if necessary)
  • Step 6: Click the checkbox at the left beside the name of the preferred student
  • Step 7: Click the share icon in red at the top right
  • Step 8: Choose from the list of options provided; Status as In-active then Move Condition: Enter a reason the child left the school
  • Step 9: Click Save

Congratulations! You have successfully made a student inactive.

How to Move Inactive Students to Active

Follow the steps below to move student:

  • Step 1: Log in to the school portal
  • Step 2: Navigate to the Administrative section on the main menu
  • Step 3: Click Student/Pupil (A menu under Administrative)
  • Step 4: Click Manage Student/Pupil (a sub-menu of Student)
  • Step 5: Click the Filter button in the top right corner
  • Step 6: Select Student Status as Inactive
  • Step 7: Click Proceed. (This shows the list of all inactive students)
  • Step 8: Use the search box to quickly search for a student by name (preferably surname) (Class and Arm if necessary)
  • Step 9: Click the checkbox at the left beside the name of the preferred student
  • Step 10: Click the share icon in red at the top right specifying Move
  • Step 11: Choose from the list of options provided; Status as Active, then Move Condition: Enter a reason
  • Step 12: Click Save

Note

Putting a student back on the active list does not automatically assign the student to a class. Click here to learn how to assign a student to a class
