How to Log In Without Using a Password

Follow the steps below to log in without a password:

  • Step 1: Navigate to the school portal log-in page.
  • Step 2: Click Login without password
  • Step 3: Provide your email (a valid email registered under your profile)
  • Step 4: Click the link sent to your email inbox (or spam box)
A link will be sent to your email inbox (spam box). When you click the link, you will be automatically logged into the school portal.

How to Create a User Permission Category

Follow the steps below to create a permission category:

  • Step 1: Log in to the school portal and then navigate to Administrative on the main menu
  • Step 2: Click Users, a menu under Administrative
  • Step 3: Click Permission Category, a sub-menu of Users
  • Step 4: Click the ADD CATEGORY button in the top right corner of the page
  • Step 5: Click Save
Categories can be created for the Director, Principal, Vice Principal, Head of Department, Front Desk Officer, Teacher, Class Teacher, Accountant, and so on.

How to Assign Privileges to the Created Permission Category

Follow the steps below to assign privileges:

  • Step 1: Log in to the school portal and then navigate to Administrative on the main menu
  • Step 2: Click Users, a menu under Administrative
  • Step 3: Click Permission Category, a sub-menu of Users
  • Step 4: Click the VIEW PRIVILEGES button attached to the permission category created
  • Step 5: From the tables of modules and sub-modules, choose or enable ONLY the privileges associated/related to the permission category
  • Step 6: Click the Save button

Tip

For example, the following modules (and all or some sub-modules under them) should be enabled for the staff members who are Class Teachers: Dashboard, Message, Student, Class, Attendance, Result, Timetable, Curriculum, Virtual Class, Meeting, and Account.

However, it is advisable to enable ONLY the SUB-MODULES that are necessary within the capacity of the staff as a class teacher. For example, a class teacher has nothing to do with the following sub-modules of RESULT: Result Setting, Cumulative Result, Result Access

How to Assign User Permission to a Staff based on Roles

The following are steps to assign a user permission to a member of the staff based on his/her roles:

  • Step 1: Log in to the school portal and then navigate to the Administrative on the main menu
  • Step 2: Click Users, a submenu of Administrative
  • Step 3: Click User Permission, a submenu of Users
  • Step 4: Click the ADD PERMISSION button in the top right corner of the page
  • Step 5: Fill in all *required fields. Select a Permission Category and then select the staff to be assigned the Permission (or role)
  • Step 6: Click the Save button.

Tip

To change the User Permission assigned to a staff, click the DELETE button attached to the individual's name on the Permission List, and then follow Steps 4, 5, and 6. (Note that this could also be done without deleting the current permission. Doing Steps 4, 5, and 6 automatically changes the permission to a new or preferred one)

How to Remove a User from a Location

Follow the steps below to remove a user:

  • Step 1: Log in to the school portal and then navigate to Administrative on the main menu
  • Step 2: Click on Users, a menu under Administrative
  • Step 3: Click Users Location, a sub-menu of Users
  • Step 4: Search for the user whose location you'll like to manage
  • Step 5: Click the Manage Location button associated with the user
  • Step 6: From the list of locations, the user is assigned, select the box to the left of the location you'll like to remove the user from.
  • Step 7: Click the delete icon button at the top right
  • Step 8: You'll be prompted to confirm your action, click Yes to continue

Congratulations!, you've successfully removed a user from a location.
