How to Enter Result

Follow the steps below to enter a result:

  • Step 1: Log in to the school portal and navigate to the Academics section of the main menu.
  • Step 2: Click Result (a menu under Academics)
  • Step 3: Click Enter Result. (a sub-menu of Result)
  • Step 4: Click the Enter Result button on the assessment of interest
  • Step 5: Fill in all required fields then click the Proceed button
  • Step 6: Click the Enter Result button
  • Step 7: Enter a score or rating
  • Step 8: Scroll to the bottom of the page and then click Save

Note

While filling all required fields, fill out the following fields

  • Session: Select an academic session of interest,
  • Term/Quarter: Select an academic term/quarter
  • Class: Select a class from the list of classes displayed. (The classes listed are the ones you have access to)
  • Assessment Option: Select one of the following: (IEP, Cognitive, Progress, Affective, Psychomotor, or Behavioural)
  • Result Option: (Per Subject or Per Student) depending on your permission and preference.

The Per Subject option simply indicates that you prefer/have access to enter results on a subject-by-subject basis.

The Per Student option simply indicates that you would prefer/have access to entering results per student in a specific class.

Tip

To delete scores or a set of scores (e.g. C. A. and EXAM) simultaneously, select the tiny square box attached to the scores or student's name, and then click the red delete icon in the top right corner of the page.

How to Import Classroom Assessment Scores

Follow the steps below to import classroom assessment scores:

  • Step 1: Click the Import Score button at the top right corner of the page
  • Step 2: Click Import Score Form Classroom
  • Step 3: Click Proceed

Congratulations, you’ve successfully imported classroom assessment scores.

Note

  • Importing classroom assessment scores is only possible if classroom assessment has been linked to final assessment.
  • Classroom scores would be automatically imported and saved. The score imported is based on the percentage set when linking assessment to final assessment.

How to Import Assessment Scores

Follow the steps below to import scores:

  • Step 1: Click the Import Score button at the top right corner of the page
  • Step 2: Click Import From Assessment
  • Step 3: Fill in all required fields
  • Step 4: Click Proceed

Congratulations, you’ve successfully imported assessment scores.

Note

The following fields are required:

  • Assessment: The assessment whose scores should be imported (e.g Midterm)
  • Apply to: The assessment type that the imported scores be applied to (e.g CA or First CA e.t.c)
  • Percentage: The percentage of the total assessment score to be imported. It ranges from 1 - 100 e.g 10 (meaning 10 %) of the midterm score into CA or available assessment type of the current assessment (e.g End of term assessment).

Also:

  • Importing scores from one assessment to another is only possible if the scores for the assessment being imported are available
  • Scores would be imported and saved automatically
  • The imported score is based on the percentage specified when importing

How to Close/Reopen Result Entry Access

Follow these steps below to restrict/open result entry access:

  • Step 1: Log in to your school portal and navigate to the Academics section on the menu
  • Step 2: Click Results
  • Step 3: Click Result Access
  • Step 4: On the academic session of interest click Enable or Disable (for the preferred term)
  • Step 5: Click Save

How to Add a Comment to a Result

Follow the steps below to add a comment:

  • Step 1: Log in to the school portal and navigate to the Academics section of the main menu
  • Step 2: Click Result (a menu under Academics)
  • Step 3: Click Comment On Result (a sub-menu of Result)
  • Step 4: On the assessment of interest, click the Comment On Result button
  • Step 5: Fill in all required fields (Session, Term or Quarter, Class, Comment As) and click the Proceed button
  • Step 6: Click a student of interest
  • Step 7: In the comment field, enter a comment that gives an honest reflection of the child's performance
  • Step 8: Click Save



Note

  • To the left is a list of students/pupils with a badge pending or done. Pending at the top section, Done at the bottom section
  • The pending badge indicates that no comment exists for the student/pupil
  • The done badge indicates that a comment has been entered for the student/pupil
  • Click the cognitive or progress report tab section to see a summary of the child's performance to help make an informed decision on the child's performance
  • Click the select from comment bank link to select from a predefined comment bank. This is optional
  • Repeat the same process above to enter comments for all the students/pupils
  • The steps above also apply to updating or editing an existing comment
  • Comment can only be entered when a result already exists for the child. If you see no result found. it implies that the child has no result hence comment can not be entered

How to use Auto-comment to Comment on Students' Results

The following are steps to use the auto-comment tool to comment on students' results simultaneously:

  • Step 1: Log in to the school portal and navigate to the Academics section of the main menu
  • Step 2: Click Result (a menu under Academics)
  • Step 3: Click Comment On Result (a submenu of Result)
  • Step 4: On the assessment of interest, click the Comment On Result button
  • Step 5: Fill in all the *required fields (Session, Term or Quarter, Class, Comment As) and then click the Proceed button
  • Step 6: Click the auto-comment icon in the top right corner, as shown in the diagram below

  • Step 7: Read the message on the pop-up dialogue box and then click the PROCEED button
